This is a special production run of Ola’s 40th Birthday guitar that the Solar staff created for Ola as a gift. Starting with a Mahogany Body topped with AAA Flame maple top, the cognac satin finish is a thing of beauty. Roasted maple 5 piece neck with maple fretboard and stainless steel frets allow for impeccable playability. The SB6FROC comes with Graphtech Ratio Locking Tuners and Graphtech LB63 Ghost loaded piezo equipped bridge with Ghost Acousti-phonic preamp to maximize its tonal variety. The first volume is for the custom wound SA56BEU and SA56NEU Solar Modern humbuckers that are a more modern and aggressive take on the classic Solar Alnico V, focused to perfectly match these new instruments. Each pickup is installed directly into the wood with brass countersinks to create a harmonious tonal marriage between body resonance and electrical output. The 2nd volume controls the Ghost Piezo and Pre-amp. Schaller Megaswitch & CTS potentiometers complete this electronics package. Each guitar ships in a custom MCAS flight-ready molded case with certificate of authenticity personally signed by Ola.
