Anders Björler is most known for being a founding member of the Swedish metal act At The Gates and was a member of the Swedish metal act The Haunted. After more than a decade long break from At The Gates they announced (2022) that Anders is back on lead guitar in the band.
At the Gates is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. They are a major progenitor of the Gothenburg sound. At the Gates were initially active from 1990 to 1996. In 2007, the band announced a limited reunion tour between April and September 2008. However, they reformed for a second time in 2011, and have since continued to perform live. The band released At War with Reality, their first album in 19 years, in late 2014. Followed up by To Drink From The Night Itself (2018) and The Nightmare Of Being (2021).

Solo project:
Anders debut album ‘Antikythera’ was released by Anders Fridén on his label Razzia Notes Records in November 2013. It focuses on Björler’s love for Italian movie soundtracks from the 1960s–80s, but also contains elements of English progressive rock, jazz, post-rock and Swedish folk music.
