Formed in 2003. as a groove metal outfit, the band released four studio albums,
three of which are produced by renowned Danish producer Tue Madsen.
The lineup change in late 2016. saw the change of guitarists and the drummer
at the same time, resulting in a completely new sound for the band.
In 2018. they released thir fourth studio album ”All Our Sins” via Arising Empire/Nuclear blast
which saw the band going in a more emotionaly driven but also more technical brand of modern metal.
Cold Snap toured Europe multiple times with bands such as Ektomorf, Pro-Pain, Dead by April and
most recently with Florida death metal legends Monstrosity and supporting Jinjer on some dates of their 2019. EU tour, played festivals like Wacken Open Air, Metaldays, Death Coffee Party,
Fajtfest, Hills of Rock and many more.
In early 2018., while recording in Tue Madsen’s studio in Aarhus, Denmark, the band saw a Solar in the wild for the
first time and was completely blown away by the instrument, so much that they ditched thier old guitars as soon as possible.
