Jimmy Christensen – Jimmy Christensen – GUTTURAL SLUG/SEPTIC CONGESTION Solar Artists

Guitarist by nature, Bass player by trade.
Jimmy started his musical career in the punk scene of Denmark, in 2005 and has since ventured through most of the metal genres, from Black Metal, Thrash Metal and Death Metal to Slam/Brutal Death Metal.

In 2019, Jimmy joined the band Septic Congestion as a stand-in bass player for a few shows in Europe, but quickly became a permanent member of the line-up.
Septic Congestion released their first Full-Length Album “Souls To Consume” in 2016 and has traveled Europe for shows and festivals since.
Their 2nd full-length album is well on the way, and is set to be released in late 2024.

In 2023, he joined Guttural Slug, for their 10-year anniversary of the album “Megalodon” (and first ever live performance), and has continued to be a permanent member of the band, alongside Solar artist Mikkel Scott (Septic Congestion, Esophagectomy), Jack Christensen (Kraanium, Septic Congestion), Emil Juhl (Hanging the Nihilist) and Jon Arent (Hanging the Nihilist).

Guttural Slug is finally complete, after 12 years, 3 Full-Length albums (and a 4th on the way).
