The Type X1.6KW six-string guitar is the new signature model for Kirk Windstein of Crowbar / Down. This guitar features a fixed Tonepros locking TOM bridge with string thru . It also features a set of EMG 85/81 active pickups for power, cut and clarity.The Type X1.6KW features a set-thru neck/body joint design with 24.75” scale, alder body, a fast, thin, comfortable maple neck, an ebony fingerboard with 22 super-jumbo stainless steel frets and custom side block inlays for stage use. Loaded with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, PPS nut, volume and tone controls. and full access neck. Available in Mardi Gras Purple Metallic Gloss finish with black hardware, it also includes a Solar custom fitted wooden hardcase. *This instrument is best suited to be plugged in with a Right-Angle Jack.
