Rune Sjøthun is the rhythm guitarist and one of the composers in the norwegian band Cor Scorpii. Rune has been a member of Cor Scorpii since the beginning of 2004. He has a particular melodic rhythmic riffing style. Cor Scorpii is known for their epic melodic leads as well as the long and melodic riffs. Sjøthun has written several of the band’s songs and he is one of the two composers of the instrumental track “Helvetesfossen”.
