Tokyo-based metal artist Yuki Shinozaki established a strong presence in the local scene from an early stage. After performing with metalcore bands Prompts and Sailing Before the Wind, he is now active as a songwriter and guitarist for the melodic death metal band ALPHOENIX. ALPHOENIX has released two full-length albums to date and has embarked on Asia tours. In addition to his primary role as a guitarist, he also appears on stage as a session bassist, and it is not uncommon to see him performing throughout Tokyo’s metal and hardcore scene.
