This Type V1.81A Assassin eight-string guitar will set you apart from everyone else. With its distinctive, stealth looks and feature set, this guitar is a precise, professional instrument suitable for both stage and studio work. This guitar features the Evertune® constant-tension bridge—a reliable, fully-mechanical system that keeps the guitar in tune under any circumstances. It’s loaded with a single Fishman Fluence Open Core Modern ceramic active humbucker pickup, revealing pure, uncorrupted and musical tone. The Type V1.81A Assassin features a set-thru neck/body joint design with 27” scale, an alder body, a fast, thin, comfortable maple neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel super-jumbo frets and ‘glow in the dark’ side dots for easy stage use. This well balanced 8-string guitar is loaded with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, Graphtech nut, single volume with push-pull and full access neck. Logo is engraved into the headstock with carbon black matte finish. Also includes a Solar Type V deluxe gig bag. (NOTE: THIS GUITAR DOES NOT FIT THE SOLAR MCV CASE, 9V battery not included)
